Peace Church Office Monday is the pastor’s day off. Please help her keep this time free. Pastor Christine will be away at conference from Wednesday to Friday this week. You can contact her in church on Tuesday or she will pick up messages when she gets back. What’s On? Women’s Bible Study meets on Tuesdays at 11am. Please feel free to come and join us. Mom’s and Babies’ Prayer Group meets on Tuesdays at 4.30pm. Please just come along and join in. Pastoral Support is available this week. Thursday afternoon 2 to 4pm Homework Club meets on Friday 21 June. If any new children wish to join please speak to Christine The African Choir meets after the service in the church. If you would like to join just come along! Jubilate will meet on the following dates at 10.45am before the service; 16 June, 7 July, 21 July, 18 August. Please come and join us. Church coffee is a very important time for many members of Peace Church. The church provides the tea, coffee and biscuits for this. However, we need willing hands to set up and clear up. Please consider doing this once every so often. There is a coffee rota in the kitchen where you can sign up. Come Aside is a quiet time of prayer and reflection giving us a moment of quiet to sit with God in our busy lives. The next meeting will be on Sunday 30 June at 5pm. Please make a note in your diary.
Peace Church Prayers There are yellow Prayer Slips in the weekly bulletin and on the shelf next to the church entrance. Completed slips are collected as part of the Offertory. If you are happy to share your prayer, members of our Prayer Chain will be praying for you through the week. (Please be assured that, having been offered to God, private requests are destroyed without being read.) Emergency prayer requests can be made to prayer@peacechurch.de, or to Jenny McPherson 089-85635348 or aandjmcp@gmail.com. If you would like to join the prayer chain please speak to Christine. Membership Whether you are here for a few months, a few years or "forever", you can become an official member of Peace Church. If you wish to retain membership at your “home church”, you can become an “Affiliate Member” (if a Methodist) or an “Associate Member” (if from another denomination). Full Membership is available for everyone else. All types of membership make it clear that you really do belong here.
